Outside of work
I'm a proud father and husband, a UEFA C FA-certified junior football coach, a passionate reader, and a Grade 8 guitarist. I speak fluent French and German, having spent much of my twenties living abroad.
I mention this because I think who a coach is as a person matters. You'll be sharing things with me that you might not share with many people. I want you to have a sense of who you're talking to.
Empowering Growth Through Coaching & Experience
Hi, I'm Andy.
My passion for coaching grew out of my own experience of being coached and out of spending two decades in advertising sales at Amazon and LinkedIn, working with some of the world's biggest brands.
When I stepped into management, I discovered it was a completely different job. The skills that made me good at selling weren't the same ones I needed to lead a team well. I had to rebuild from scratch and coaching was central to how I did that.
That experience is why I do this now. I know what it feels like to be high-performing in your role and then suddenly feel out of your depth. I know the disorientation of that transition. And I've seen, first-hand, how much the right support at the right moment can change things.
How I work
I bring creativity, curiosity, kindness, and empathy to every session. My style is warm but direct, I'll support you, and I'll challenge you, always with your goals in mind rather than my own agenda.
I'm an ICF member and trained coach. I use a range of frameworks and techniques, including creative tools like images and objects to open up new perspectives, though what that looks like in practice always follows where you need to go.
Sessions are online, ideally every fortnight or booked within an agreed timeframe, and run at a pace that works for you.
